In todays world we can now build devices smaller then ever, and these devices are packed with sensors and wireless connectivity. These devices are called Internet of Things (IoT). So if your looking for a way to monitor various systems (e.g. crops, air conditioning, lighting), and also would like to compare the results via integrating the results, then building a wireless sensor network is the way to go.
If your looking for someone to develop a wireless sensor network for you, or simply need improvements to an existing system, do not hesitate to contact us.
Cannon Hill is an inner suburb of Brisbane, Australia. It is 6 km east of the CBD.
Cannon Hill was named after the Weedon family home 'Cannon Hill House'. Built in 1867, the house, which had extensive grounds and a maze, burnt down in 1927.
The population of Cannon Hill has remained relatively stable during the 1990s with 1997 figures showing just fewer than 4,000 people calling the suburb home. This is primarily due to the established nature of the suburb with a lack of vacant land suitable for new land development, resulting in only 23 dwelling approvals during the same period.
Lately however, a number of younger couples have moved into the area capitalising on the affordability of housing in the suburb, which has been eroded since prices started growing strongly about three years ago.
The majority of housing in Cannon Hill was constructed during the 1950s and 1960s, including numerous weatherboard clad three or four bedroom houses supported by wooden stumps. However, in recent years the suburb has experienced an increase in the number of semi-detached houses and duplexes.
Cannon Hill boasts many facilities and services including a major shopping centre, railway station, private schools and numerous parks and recreational reserves.
Considering its close proximity to the city plus the wide variety of facilities and services in the vicinity, Cannon Hill is a suburb with a lot to offer.
According to the ABS 2001 Census there were 4,377 people living in the suburb with a median age of 36. The median individual income was between $300 and $399 per week. Of all occupied private dwellings 74% were either fully owned or being purchased; 21% were being rented.
